Animus - Stand Alone: A Fantasy Action RPG
Animus - Stand Alone, developed by 10Birds, is a fantasy action RPG available on Xbox One. The game takes place in a broken world where you play as an anonymous warrior who is out of place and time. The objective is to end the world's suffering by defeating bosses and completing quests.
The game offers four levels of difficulty, with progression through quests, skill trees, equipment drops, and reinforcement. The game has a total of 24 main quests per day, and 13 to 17 side quests for farming. The strategy/tactics of the game is to collect, combine, and balance equipment suited to the map or enemy.
The game has four area themes and three end bosses, with an additional boss in Day 3. Animus: Stand Alone is a standalone game, but it is also a companion piece to the world and lore of Ire: Blood Memory. Players do not need foreknowledge of Ire to enjoy Animus.
The game has a new UI, graphics quality/overhaul, lighting, and no in-app purchases. Animus - Stand Alone is an enjoyable game for all fans of action RPGs.
